Fun Facts:

• Jessica is blessed with two children, an older daughter and a younger son.
• Jessica loves hiking with her husband and children on Sundays (weather permitting.)
• Jessica recently published her first children’s book “Bernie’s Escape from Ong” about the dangers of plastic pollution in the ocean.

He graduated from SUNY Maritime College in 2009 and immediately started work in the energy consulting field.  With extensive hands-on knowledge in Energy Auditing, Commissioning, and Retro-commissioning, he took a strategic career path change from consulting to being an owner’s representative for New York City.  At DCAS Energy Management, his role was to mass implement Energy Efficiency Projects for all building typologies and demonstrate the validity of energy savings after implementation.   His unique experience allows him to bring perspective in both engineering theory and the practical challenges in designing and executing implementation programs at a large scale.

Fun Facts:

• Outside of work, Deng likes to play with his two (2) sons.
• Deng has developed a fond appreciation of talking a walk after dinner with his eldest son.
• Deng finds it to be very therapeutic and calming, especially after a hectic day.
• Deng also enjoys singing Karaoke. His wife gave him the nickname “The Karaoke Machine.”

Abigail has been an Energy Analyst for Harris Energy Solutions since 2019. She has a passion for sustainability and relates to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.   Her diverse experience includes building modeling, solar design, data collection, and analysis. In addition, her interest in education and environmental sciences drives great strengths in research and development, critical problem solving, and analytical thinking.

Fun Facts:

• Outside of work, Abby is studying Elementary Education at Texas State University! Eat ’em up cats!
• Abby enjoys hiking and spending as much time outside as possible.
• Abby also enjoys relaxing and listening to music, her favorite artist right now is Harry Styles.
• Abby’s dream vacation would be an all-expenses-paid year-long trip to Europe!   [Harris Energy better start getting international contracts!]

He is passionate about learning and has a constant thirst for knowledge. From initially integrating a barcode system at a medical clinic to collecting and compiling data for energy audits, Johan’s strong analytical skills prove to be one of his greatest assets. He is currently studying to get his EIT certificate and will eventually become a certified PE.

Fun Facts:

• Johan’s favorite dish is a Mexican Torta, aka a sandwich that comes in many different styles and fillings.
• Outside of work, Johan is very into movies citing “WALL-E” to be his favorite film.
• Johan loves to watch soccer and is an active supporter of Arsenal FC.
• One of Johan’s dreams is to visit every state and major city at least once.

with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Sustainable Architecture and Planning minor. She is interested in sustainability due to her experience in her home country, the Philippines. Due to their lack of reliable power sources, Leamari wants to gain experience in various types of energy engineering so that she can one day apply it to homes in the Philippines. Her experience includes building modeling along with data collection and analysis which strengthens her critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Fun Facts:

• Because of the TBI (Texas Bioscience Institute) Program in her school district, Leamari earned her associate degree one month before graduating high school
• Leamari was a cofounder of Texas A&M University’s first SATB chorus made up ONLY of engineering students
• Leamari’s dream home is a penthouse right across Central Park, overlooking NYC’s skyline
• Her favorite stress reliever while in college was dancing while doing karaoke with her closest friends in College Station (Whoop!)

Reba has been a data analyst for 5+ years in a multitude of fields including healthcare, government contracting and financial. She is well known as the excel wizard due to her extensive high-level skills. Her various experiences include data analytics, business process modeling, and project management. Her love of numbers and data has given her an advantage when it comes to analytics and data story telling.

Fun Facts:

• Along with Reba’s 2 children (boy and girl), she has 4 dogs (1 german shepherd and 3 pit mixes) and a leopard gecko named Bruno
• Outside of work, Reba’s hobbies include baking, writing and graphic design
• Before majoring in Business, Reba was a journalism major
• Reba was, in fact, named after the country singer, Reba McEntire

Fun Facts:
When he isn’t at work, you can find him doing something with or for his family, as he receives great joy from helping others and is a family man. One last fun fact about him: he is a huge fan of horror and visiting “spooky” places. He says the spookier, the better!

Daniel is excited to be applying his engineering skills at HES to support the growing need for sustainable development and monitoring across the country. Daniel was the technical lead on the research team for ESP32 hardware usage as an Internet of Things sensor for measuring energy consumption in facilities to enhance data availability.

Daniel also established M&V instructional documentation, standards, and coaching materials for NYC DCAS Energy managers. He co-authored an annual segmentation analysis report on NYC’s municipal facilities portfolio to determine energy consumption using SQL queries. In addition, he conducted a statistical analysis using Excel on various municipal buildings to determine weather-dependent energy consumption. Daniel has experience working on ASHRAE Level I energy audits, including site visit collection data, energy calculations, and report development. He also created M&V plans following IPMVP standards for NYC municipal energy projects.

Fun Fact:

• He is a well-rounded fellow displayed by his creative hobbies.
• Danny is an avid enjoyer of 3D printing and electronics design. They pair well with his other pastimes of plant care, designing custom mechanical keyboards and, most recently: street photography!

He has extensive experience across the energy engineering spectrum, particularly energy auditing and energy modeling. Patrick is a PE in 6 states (as of now), and my auditing and modeling covers buildings of all sizes and types (commercial high-rise, multi-family residential, educational, industrial, performing arts, etc).

Outside of work: Huge sports fan (Yankees, Giants, obsessive WVU fan), concerts (favorite bands are Metallica, Ozzy), genealogy, playing with my niece and nephew, traveling to new places/exploring historical sites, video games, TV and movies (especially The Sopranos)

Pets: 2 basset hounds

Dream vacation is Ireland (although anywhere outside the US would be an adventure)

He graduated from Northeastern University, with a Master of Science in Energy systems. He graduated from Indraprastha University. with a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Fun Fact:

• I love real football (soccer), love playing and watching games. I am a huge Chelsea fan (football club in London)
• I love to cook. Mostly Indian food. But I am a big foodie so love cooking new things and exploring new cuisines.
• I love to travel. Hoping to travel through the states in the next couple of years. Hoping this job will also help me do that as well!
• I love building Legos! My wife calls them toys, but it doesn’t faze me. It is kind of therapeutic for me.

Fun Fact:

• I love travelling to new places, hiking and camping in the midst of nature. My most recent hike was to smoky mountains earlier this month. I also like kayaking and rafting, going to amusement parks, and basically I am fond of doing adventurous things.
• I like staying active so love for sports is something I have had since childhood. Some of my favorite sports are cricket and soccer. I have done karate for 8 years in school and also do kickboxing. I learnt horse-riding recently and try to go out for horse-riding on weekends. Whenever I don’t go out, I like playing games on my PlayStation. Some of my favorite games are Fortnite and Call of duty.
• I am also very passionate about space, cosmos, stars, black holes etc. and I love watching documentaries and reading books on these topics. I love stargazing and I have a telescope at my home which I use for observing the night sky.
• A fun fact about me which not everyone knows is that I like reading poetry’s which is also known as ‘shayris’ in Urdu. I mostly read motivational poetry’s.
